How I clean my brushes

Hey guys!
Today is my day off, which means I've got time to clean my brushes.

All you need:

Olive oil
Detergent
Plate
Dirty brushes

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                How to:

Put some of the detergent on to a plate.

Add a little bit olive oil.

Take your dirty brush and swirl it around the plate.

Clean off your brush under some lukewarm water.

Leave your brushes to dry on a towel, and voila! you've got clean brushes!

Because of the olive oil, your brushes are not only clean but also super soft!

Before                                            &             after

It's my day off!

So, I've recently started working at my summer job. Today was my day off.

I woke up and saw an episode of Teen Wolf, had some coffee and ate cornflakes for breakfast.
After that episode, I enjoyed a nice relaxing bath.

Bath bomb: dragons egg
Shampoo bar: Braziliani
Sample: British nanny face cream

Because I got off work a little bit earlier yesterday, I quickly hopped into Lush to get these. The women who helped me out there was really friendly! so thank you.
The bath bomb was really fun! My bath turned orange, and my skin felt extremely soft and nourished.
I didn't think much of the shampoo bar. I just bought it to try it, but it's ah-mazing! as I'm writing this, my hair still smells like mandarine. The sample that they gave me there, I have yet to try.

When I got out, I used a face scrub and a mask to carry on my pamper-day. After I took of my mask, I hydrated my skin with the Yves Rocher day cream on my face and the sence body butter on my body. I'm not kidding when I say that my skin feels baby soft!

I enjoyed the rest of my free day playing with my neighbours' baby girl! I love love love her! Hope she gets better though, she's been feeling a bit sick and has a fever =(.

How to spend your rainy summer days

We've been having some rainy summer days lately, so I've decided to share some ideas of things to do a rainy summer day.

On rainy days I enjoy reading a good book.
Because it's probably still hot, instead of drinking some hot chocolate, make yourself a healthy smoothie!
Smoothies are great, they fill your tummy and are the easiest ways to get your fruits a day inside you.

Here are a few recipes you can use or get inspiration from. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/articles/50-smoothies.html

I also enjoy putting some music on and getting a bit artsy. Anything from painting to drawing, anything really that relaxes you and inspires you.

If you're not an artsy person, try playing some board-games or card-games with friends or family. You can also catch up on tv-shows, or even go to the movies with your friends!

I've been really into : ' arrow, the flash, teen wolf, pretty little liars and the game of thrones.'

Rainy days are also perfect to do some work around the house, because you can't really go outside, some cleaning, reorganizing or even some cute DIY's are some of the things you can do. Get ispired by stuff on pinterest or even Youtube.

Lastly, just go outside with an umbrella and dance in the rain, enjoy nature which is beautiful on sunny and rainy days!

Feel free to let me know ho you like to spend your rainy days.

xoxo

Graduated!!

I finally did it! Yesterday (07.26.'15) I graduated high school!
It still feels very surreal to me. I'm so happy I got to celebrate it with all my friends who have graduated aswell.
Class of 2015. Next step will be college, but won't be stressing about that for now.

Really proud of everyone.

My summer favorites!

As summer is about to start, I've decided to share you some of my favorite make-up!

This Sleek 'Contour & Highlight' pallet in 'light' is a must have if you love taking pictures. Contouring your face while taking a picture leaves you looking flawless. You can also use this every day if you like having contoured cheeks and some highlight (cupid's bow for example)

The 'Maybelline Brow drama' gel is perfect for very settle    eyebrows.  The one I use is in 'Medium brown'.

For Mascara I love using the 'Maybelline Falsies Feather-look' in    intense black.
On days where I want to have a very healthy glowy skin look I use the 'Rimmel Wake me up' foundation and concealer  in Ivory.

On days where I wish to have a matte look, I just wear the 'Rimmel Match Perfection' in 'Ivory'

Both foundations contain SPF, which makes it perfect for summer.
As far as lips go, I am the type that likes a lot of bronze, neutral colors.
On the left: Cover Girl 'Bronzed Glow'

In the middle: Rimmel Kate Moss '107'. This is perfect if you want lips that aren't too red. and it smells ah-mazing!

On the right: Mac's 'Matte Velvet Teddy'
On my eyes I love using a color tattoo. It stays put throughout the   whole day, and it's super easy to use!

This one's Maybelline's 'On-and-on bronze' .
If I want to wear eyeshadows on my eyes, I'll go for this Sleek pallet in 'Au Naturel'. It contains every neutral color you'll need.

Windy day

Lot's of wind today!
Enjoyed a nice relaxing walk and visited the baby I usually babysit on!
Seriously want to eat her alive, she's the cutest!
Wearing just simple black jeggings, a seetrough black vest and a grey/purple-ish tank top as it was still hot today.

as we were walking on grass I was bare foot, cause ain't nobody got time for shoes, but I had my flip flops for when we'd return back home.

Halfway trough the finals! Almost graduating, can't wait.

Have a wonderful day!
xoxo
